About
John Chipponeri is a leadership coach, athlete, and mentor devoted to helping others achieve balance, purpose, and growth. With a distinguished background in global engineering and business management, he combines real-world experience with a grounded, compassionate approach to personal transformation. A graduate of UC Berkeley with honors in Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering, John spent over 30 years at Chevron, advancing from engineer to Senior Project Manager overseeing large-scale, multi-billion-dollar projects around the world. His leadership roles spanned the U.S., Indonesia, and Australia, cultivating both technical excellence and human connection. After semi-retiring, John began a new chapter centered on coaching and self-discovery. Through advanced study in the Narrative Enneagram and deep involvement in Men’s Work and recovery programs, he helps individuals reconnect with their values, cultivate self-awareness, and lead with authenticity. His coaching philosophy is rooted in empathy, discipline, and spiritual growth—drawing inspiration from Christian mysticism and Sufi traditions. Beyond his professional pursuits, John finds meaning in endurance sports and community engagement. A competitive triathlete and swimmer, he brings the same dedication and focus from his athletic training to his work with clients. Whether teaching pickleball, exploring nature through hiking and biking, or guiding others through recovery and personal reflection, John’s life embodies resilience, curiosity, and compassion. Through every endeavor, John Chipponeri’s mission remains clear: to inspire others to grow, connect deeply, and live with purpose.
